According to the results of the fifth annual survey conducted by Harvard’s Program on Education Policy and Governance and Education Next magazine on a wide range of education policy issues, most Americans want to keep taxes low while boosting school spending.

Interestingly, this echoes the sentiment of a Quinnipiac University poll from January of 2011 that found that 79 percent of New Yorkers opposed cutting school spending.
